‘I’m a former research scientist who switched careers to become an author and broadcaster. I love ‘crossing boundaries’ between the sciences and the arts and my various collaborations with artist, scientist, dramatist and musician friends have provided so much fun and inspiration.It’s been a joy, too, to gain inspiration from the places where I’ve lived and worked, in Cornwall, Oxfordshire, Glasgow and Cumbria.’
